Fall 2013 is here and we are excited to share our favorite trends for this season! You are sure to find trends that are stylish and wearable for work, school, and leisure. Here are our top six trends for Fall 2013.
1. Plaid/Tartan

Plaid is on the the most popular trends for Fall 2013. Also known as tartan, this trend is one that was prevalent on the fall fashion runways.
There are countless ways to wear the classic plaid trend. Other than wearing a plaid skirt, blouse, or jacket, you could also rock the plaid trend by simply adding plaid accessories to your wardrobe.
Music producer, Pharrell Williams, and model, Helen Lasichanh, did not let their wedding day stop them from wearing one of the hottest trends of the season. During their recent nuptials, Williams wore a red and green tartan tuxedo while Lasichanh wore a navy blue and green tartan wedding gown. See their wedding attire here.
2. Emerald
Pantone announced emerald as the Color of the Year for 2013. Many designers introduced emerald in their Fall 2013 collections. The deep green color of emerald is lush, bold, and has the power to make you stand out in a crowd.
3. Velvet
The velvet trend is one that would make you feel like a royal princess. Dating back to 2000 BC, velvet was traditionally associated with nobility and royalty, only available to those with wealth. A velvet dress would be perfect choice for wearing to a holiday party this year.
4. Leopard

Tap into your wide side with this season’s leopard trend. Leopard, a pattern that is timeless, is a sure way to add fierceness and pizzazz to your wardrobe. Grrrr!!!
5. Oxblood

Oxblood is a term used by those in the fashion industry and is associated with dark reddish or purple hues, similar to burgundy. The oxblood trend, continuing from Fall 2012, is not only a popular trend in fashion, but also in cosmetics. Many are using the oxblood color to “vamp” up their makeup, wearing dark purple/reddish lipstick and nail polish.
6. Faux Fur

Faux fur is a trend that definitely stood out on the Fall 2013 runways. You have many options for wearing faux including coats, hats, and handbags. Faux fur is stylish, classy, and will surely keep you warm and cozy this winter.
